How do I change my registered email address?
If your email address changes for any reason, you can update your registered email address in Futureproofs to match. Remember that, if you do change your registered email address, you will have to use the new address to log into the system in future.
To change your registered email address
- Hover over the user icon at the top right of the screen. A menu will appear.
- Click on the second item on the menu (Account), and you will be taken to a screen showing your account details.
- To change your registered email address, click the + Edit link. Your email address will become editable.
- Type in your new email address and click Save. A green tick will show you that your change has been made successfully.
Once your email address has been successfully changed, we automatically send a notification email to both the old and the new address. This is for security, in case anyone breaks into your account and changes the details. Also, if you type the new email address wrongly, these emails will help you check exactly what you typed, so that you can still log into our system. They will also help our Support team to sort the issue out.
